How to release, step by step
Get your files
From My Library, download the master audio, score, lyrics, pronunciation and your Artist Rights Certificate. To release, you'll need the master audio (MP3) and a cover image.
Pick a distributor (your path to Spotify & Apple Music)
You can't upload to Spotify or Apple Music directly — you go through a 'digital distributor'. Create an account, upload your master audio, and it goes live on streaming platforms worldwide, with royalties paid to you.

Set your artist name & add the credit
Release under your own artist name on the distributor — this is your debut. In the songwriting/composition credits, add WIA Music (this is the license condition). For example:
Performed by [Your Artist Name] · Composed by WIA Music
Put it on YouTube & TikTok too
Upload to YouTube as your official audio or music video (put the credit in the description). Most distributors also push your song to TikTok's 'sounds' automatically, so others can make videos with your track — perfect for a cover challenge.
Note — our original promo video stays up too. The original promo video and 24/7 live-radio segment for this song on the WIA Music channel (@wiamusic.official) won't be taken down after your purchase — only the title changes, to '🏆 Claimed — this one found its owner.' It's a separate video on a separate channel, so it doesn't compete with your own release. Any ad revenue from that video stays with WIA Music; the master, the rights, and 100% of the revenue from your own release are entirely yours.
Before you release, check the screening record
Each song is checked against a music-recognition database before sale, leaving a 'Clear-to-Debut' screening record. View it from the badge on the song page or in the Song Passport — good to see before you release.
Wherever you release, credit WIA Music in the songwriting/composition credits. Everything else is yours — release under your name, monetize, arrange and remix freely. It's 1-of-1, so only you can ever put this song out. You keep 100% of the revenue — WIA Music takes no royalties. The ‘WIA Music’ credit is a name credit only; you are the song's owner and rights holder.
